- You are seeking information from your child in care records, and you are a person over 19 years of age who was the subject of an order for permanent care and custody of the Minister of Community Services or Mi’kmaw Family and Children’s Services
- You were adopted in Nova Scotia and are looking for information about your adoption, and / or your time in the care and custody of the Minister of Community Services or Mi’kmaw Family and Children’s Services prior to the adoption
- You are a birth parent who is seeking information about an adopted person who is over 19 years of age
